LitterHouse.com Inc. is a privately owned incorporated company founded Nov 21, 2002 by Barb Bruce (President) and Daniel Dykens (Vice President) in Orangeville Ontario, Canada. LitterHouse.com Inc was formed for the purpose of selling “The LitterHouse” litter box, directly to consumers through the LitterHouse.com web site, as well as to retail stores around the world. LitterHouse.com Inc. is a privately owned corporation consisting of 19 shareholders (all family & friends of the founders). The head office is located at 21 Green St Orangeville, ON.

The LitterHouse was invented by Daniel Dykens and inspired by Dan’s cat Sox, while living in his one bedroom apt in Brampton Ontario in 1997. Dan thought “There’s got to be a better way to deal with this ugly litter box and litter mess everywhere”! In seeing a need for a better litter box Dan came up with a simple but effective answer “The LitterHouse”.

 In seeing an opportunity to create a brother sister entrepreneurship, Barb Bruce teamed with her brother Dan Dykens and together they incorporated LitterHouse.com Inc., Starting with a humble business knowledge base they set up a shareholder’s ledger and sold corporate shares to raise the capital to start up the company and literally started building the business piece by piece.

Today LitterHouse’s are being shipped all around the world. The response from customers has been phenomenal! “People truly love it” and it's not just cat owners who are buying them. People with small dogs, ferrets and even rabbits have purchased it, even people who don’t have cats are purchasing them for friends and family as gifts, it's the perfect gift for that cat owner who has everything.

In the future LitterHouse.com Inc. will be expanding product lines, expanding marketing budgets, diversifying advertisement exposure and continuously improving the Litterhouse.com web site.
